Why Salted Soul
Slow days, a small group, and every detail thought through for you.
Just 10 women, with Nicola there all week - teaching, hosting and making sure every one of you is looked after.
Every Salted Soul retreat has happened on Zakynthos. We know the quiet corners, the swim spots and the people - and by the end of the week, you will too.
Most of our guests book alone. Shared practice, long dinners and a small group mean you're part of it from the first evening - and the group chat is usually still going by Christmas.
Slow down. Exhale.
If you've been running on empty, this is where you stop.
You're the one who holds it together. The one everyone leans on. And somewhere between the deadlines and the school runs and the 'I'm fine's, you stopped being on your own list.
This is five days where nobody needs anything from you. Where someone else has thought of everything: the food, the rhythm, the room with the sea view. Your only job is to arrive.
The experience
Most people come to Zakynthos for the beaches and the boat parties. You'll see a different island — the one we've spent four years making home. Mornings start on the mat as the sun comes up over the water. Days dissolve into sea swims, lazy afternoons and books you actually finish. One afternoon, a private boat takes you through the famous blue caves. And the women you arrived with? Somewhere between the welcome circle and the first long-table dinner, they stopped being strangers.

The experience
Day 1
Settle into the villa, meet the women you'll share the week with, and gather for a grounding welcome circle as the sun goes down.
Mornings
You'll wake to the sound of the sea, not an alarm. Two hours on the mat: breath, movement, stillness (or energising Pilates in October) while the island is still quiet. By brunch, you've already done the most important thing you'll do all day: absolutely nothing for anyone else.
Daytime
Swim at sunrise, doze by the pool, journal in the shade, or wander down to the taverna in the bay. The afternoons are deliberately unplanned. That's the point.
Adventure
A group hike in nature, and a private boat through the blue caves — where the water glows so blue it doesn't look real.
Evenings
75 minutes of soulful yin as the light turns gold, then long-table dinners under the stars. The conversations are the part nobody expects and everybody remembers.
Final morning
Leave lighter than you arrived.
The villa
Four or five nights in a beautiful villa right on the water, with pool, sea views, and your own quiet corner to exhale.
The food
Long, lazy chef-cooked brunches and candlelit long-table dinners: unprocessed, locally sourced, genuinely delicious. Afternoons are free to swim, nap, or stroll to the taverna in the bay. Every dietary need catered, always.

Your host
Movement has always been my language.
Before yoga, I was performing on West End stages, dancing across the world, chasing a life fuelled by passion but also approval. I was striving to be someone instead of simply being me.
Then yoga found me. One laid-back, no-pressure class, and everything shifted. No mirrors, no expectations, just breath, movement, and a chance to finally tune in.
I'm not your typical yogi. I don't believe you have to talk in riddles or sit in silence for hours to feel better. I believe in showing up just as you are. In finding the balance between effort and ease. In moving, laughing, letting go, and feeling good in your body again.
My classes and retreats are open, grounded, and full of heart. A space where you can let go, go deeper, and come home to yourself. I use music, my voice, and real talk to guide you through, and I always meet you exactly where you are.
If you're craving space to move, breathe, reconnect and feel more like you, I've got you.
With love,
Nicola x

Absolutely — most of our guests do. Book a twin room and we'll pair you with another lovely woman (in the rare case we can't, the room becomes yours and we'd just ask you to cover the difference to the private rate), or take a private room and join the group whenever you like. We also open a WhatsApp group before the retreat, so by the time you land, you won't be arriving among strangers.
Not at all. Mornings are energising — think flowing vinyasa or mat Pilates, depending on your retreat — and evenings are slow, soulful yin, with breathwork and meditation woven through the week. Every session has ways to soften or deepen, so it works whether it's your very first class or your thousandth.
Your accommodation, all daily practice, chef-cooked brunches and dinners, the welcome circle, and a small group of women you'll actually get to know. Most retreats also include an island hike and a private boat tour through the blue caves — check your retreat's card above for the exact inclusions for your dates. Mats and all equipment are waiting at the villa, and we'll send a packing list before you travel. Not included: flights, transfers and travel insurance.
Always. When you book, you'll fill in a short form covering anything you can't or don't eat, and our chef builds the menus around the whole group. Four years in, there hasn't been a requirement we couldn't look after beautifully.
The villa itself is an alcohol-free space — it's a big part of why the week feels the way it does, and most guests tell us they barely notice. When we head out for dinner at a local restaurant, you're very welcome to enjoy a glass of wine with the group.
A 30% deposit secures your room, with the balance due 6 weeks before your retreat begins (booking within 6 weeks, full payment is taken at booking). With such a small group, your room is genuinely held for you from the moment you book, so payments are non-refundable — but if you can no longer come and we're able to fill your space, we'll happily transfer what you've paid to a later retreat, subject to availability. We'd always recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, just in case.
